| becoming a friend of God When Jesus was asked where He lived, He said two simple words that He is saying to you right now, “Come and see!” Later Jesus said two other simple words, words He is also is saying to you right now, “Follow Me.” You see the good news is really just one Word, Jesus. It’s not any more complicated than that.You can become a friend of God by coming to see who Jesus is, and by trusting Him alone to save you. Jesus is issuing to you a lifetime welcome to spend the rest of your life with those 5 simple words. “Come and See!” and “Follow Me!” One of the best ways you can begin to see Jesus is by hearing His story. We suggest you start with the book of Mark. As you read Mark, notice who Jesus says He is, observe what He came into the world to do, Ask for God to reveal His Son Jesus to you as you read.
